Eva Marcille Pregnant

Eva Marcille exclusively confirms to BET.com that she is expecting her first child with songwriter Kevin McCall. The model and actress, who is five months pregnant, tells BET.com, “Being able to bring a life into the world is every woman’s dream but for me it’s more than just a dream it is a magical, mystical journey which I get to share with this amazing man.” Eva adds, “Kevin is the only man who I would share this moment in life with.”

We were introduced to Marcille, 28, when she won cycle three of America’s Next Top Model in 2005. The Los Angeles native continued to conquer film and television, especially in her role as Tyra Hamilton on The Young and the Restless, which earned her two NAACP Image Award nominations.

Eva is part of the BET family: She’s hosted My Model Looks Better Than Your Model and Rip the Runway and has appeared in Let’s Stay Together. Marcille will also guest star on the upcoming second season of Real Husbands of Hollywood (watch a sneak peek below).

“My life continues to be a bundle of incredible experiences,” says Marcille. “I get to do this incredible show on BET and I get to be a mom and live this amazing life that God has bestowed upon me. Who could ask for anything more?”

Well now I wonder do that mean she can get a reality show to follow her pregnancy?

B. Scott Files Multi-Million Dollar Gender Identity Discrimination Lawsuit against BET and Viacom

Pictures from www.lovebscott.com

Well, Well BET has really put their foot in their mouth. When I was tuned into the BET AWARDS that night i noticed that B.Scott, The Media Maven had changed his clothes. I said to myself, self i wonder why B.Scott change his clothes. I just figured he just made a change because thats how Fab he is. But when I saw the subdue look that he came back with, I knew then something was wrong. The day after the BET Awards B.Scott wrote a open letter to BET. Read Below http://lovebscott.com/news/open-letter-what-really-happened-to-me-at-the-bet-awards/

This is what I pulled from B.Scott’s on Blog.
“I’m sure by now you’re aware of an unfortunate incident that occurred while I was serving as Style Stage Correspondent for the 2013 BET Awards Pre-Show. After sharing my open letter with the world I’ve received tons of support from family, friends and love muffins for which I’m truly grateful.

While I want nothing more than to put this incident behind me and move on with my life, I still wholeheartedly believe that I’m entitled to a true public apology. BET’s non-apology statement added more insult to injury. What happened to me was not a ‘miscommunication’ nor was it ‘unintentional’. It was wrong. I have been vehemently trying to come to a resolution with BET and Viacom behind the scenes. After a few weeks of back and forth dialogue with no foreseeable resolution, I have filed a lawsuit against BET and its parent company Viacom for discrimination on the basis of gender identity, gender expression and sexual orientation..
Over the years my love muffins and strangers alike have questioned me about my gender identity. What IS B. Scott? As a society we’ve been conditioned to believe that a person has to be ‘exactly’ this or ‘exactly’ that. Biologically, I am male — as my sex was determined at birth by my reproductive organs.
However, my spirit truly lies somewhere in between. It is that same spirit that has allowed me to become so comfortable in my skin, choose how I express myself, and contributes to how I live my day-to-day life.

Transgender is the state of one’s gender identity (self-identification as woman, man, neither or both) not matching one’s assigned sex (identification by others as male, female or intersex based on physical/genetic sex).

It is by that definition that I accept and welcome the ‘transgender’ label with open arms.
It is also by that definition that BET and Viacom willingly and wrongfully discriminated against my gender identity during the 2013 BET Awards Pre-Show.
Let’s be clear — I’m suing BET and Viacom for a true public apology and to be fairly remunerated for the time lost, humiliation and emotional distress this entire situation has put me through.”

These are the Court Documens that were filed! http://f.cl.ly/items/3w2C1s0v3K1Q0N1D2M1P/2013-8-7%20SCOTT%20-%20complaint%20%28endorsed%29.pdf

SCANDAL is heading over to BET, for early Syndication Deal

Sit down and hold on to your Fake eyelashes. Olivia Pope is coming to Black Entertainment Television. Hunnie it will never be the same. (via +The Hollywood Reporter )

Under the pact, BET will begin airing seasons one and two of the Kerry Washington political-fixer drama this summer. Additionally, original episodes from the upcoming third season of the Shonda Rhimes series will air no sooner than eight days after original first-run episodes are broadcast on ABC. The deal for off-network repeats extends to additional seasons of the drama if it should continue its run (likely).
BET will debut the first two seasons of the ABC Studios drama with a marathon starting in August, continuing to air episodes up until the third-season premiere on ABC in the fall (a formal third-season premiere date has not been announced yet). The agreement extends season-one Scandal episodes to BET in addition to Netflix, where they’ve been streaming since debuting in September 2012. It marks the first time season two will air outside of ABC and ABC.com. Financial terms of the deal were not immediately available.
The early sale comes as studios continue to enter the syndication market early (Scandal has produced a total of 29 episodes in its two seasons) in a bid to generate instant revenue rather than waiting for the typical 100-episode mark to explore off-network sales. For their part, USA Network acquired rights to ABC’s Modern Family during its first season in January 2010, while Oxygen picked up Glee during its freshman run. Both series will begin airing in syndication later this year.
The time frame for fall repeats of original episodes of Scandal is unclear, but the deal is reminiscent of CBS’ pact with Amazon to stream Under the Dome episodes four days aftertheir Monday broadcasts.
The move will likely help ABC broaden the serialized drama’s audience among its core demographic, though Rhimes has been vocal about the series not specifically being a show catering to African-Americans. The series, about a fixer with professional and personal ties to the president of the United States (Tony Goldwyn), ranks as the No. 1 broadcast series among African-Americans, averaging 2.8 million viewers a week.
